![]() ![]() All comma-grouped numbers are now parseable, so you can paste 'system:width = 1,920’ and it’ll work. by typing 'system:inbox’ into the tag autocomplete) has several improvements. I expect we’ll do a little more here, particularly pulling the embedded data into hydrus proper as tags etc… As always, please send in any PDFs that get weird results. On update, all your existing PDFs will be scheduled for some file maintenance work to figure all this out, so give it a little while to catch everything up. Also, PDFs can have a little embedded metadata like Author and Title, and this is viewable on the special button at the top of the media viewer. The module it uses also offers raw text access, so I have rejuvenated a I-think-good-enough ‘num words’ count for PDFs. Thanks to a user, PDFs now have thumbnails! I’m happy and surprised with how this turned out. ![]() ![]() There are improvements to PDFs and system predicate parsing. But to start, just getting all the tags is a good place to learn.I had a good week. Once you get more familiar, you can go back to these defaults and customise things a bit, perhaps set up different rules for different sites, or maybe move the tags to a different place. I recommend you start up a simple download on a booru you like for an artist you like, to see how it works. Open a new download page, and then any time you start a new download on that page, it should use those options there and get you all the tags. The get tags with downloads without setting it up every time, hit network->downloaders->manage default tag import options, then click the button for ‘default for file posts’, then click the ‘get tags’ checkbox for ‘my tags’. Try importing a hundred or so files, see how to search for them, and archive/delete, then try some downloading, and from there subscriptions. In any case, I recommend new users just try to walk through the whole getting started guide with their client in front of them. Particularly this page talks about downloading with tags, and the concept of ‘default tag import options’: I assume you have seen the help, but if not, I have a whole ‘getting started’ guide here: Hydrus can do so many things now, making it simple for new users to get on board can be difficult. ![]() been trying to setup hydrus for 5 days now and its just to complex ![]()
